Fe Square in Tucson is a high end specialty center that is home to a
number of galleries, retail shops, service business, restaurants, and
office users.
Santa Fe Square is well located to take advantage of the high area demographics
as well as provide easy access for guests of the Canyon Ranch Day Spa
and the Ventana Canyon Resort. The center offers a gorgeous courtyard
for its merchants and shoppers to enjoy which is beautifully landscaped
and includes a sculpture garden maintained by one of the center's art
gallery tenants. |
It’s
an interesting a fun way to spend a little time going through the art
galleries and retail shops and then deciding where to grab a bite to
eat. Have someone in from out of town? This is a great destination for
visitors to see some of the upscale offerings and is located in one of
the most beautiful areas of Tucson.
One of our favorite things about Santa
Fe Square is that the businesses are locally owned and operated.
We recommend that you stop by
the Maynard Dixon Museum which is located inside the Mark Sublette
Medicine Man Gallery. The Museum is free and showcases the life work of
artist Maynard Dixon. Dixon called Tucson his home and died here in
1946. You can view over 100 pieces of his work in the collection. By the
way, do you own a Maynard Dixon painting? His highest selling painting
on canvas was auctioned off in 2005 for the bargain price of $1.6
million dollars. But, you can admire the collection for free at Santa Fe
Square. And we think free is better.
